A standard Velux or small dormer conversion usually takes around 6-8 weeks from the moment scaffolding goes up. Larger projects, such as hip-to-gable or full mansard conversions, can take 8-10 weeks. Because we manage everything in-house, we rarely experience the delays common with outsourced contractors.

Not at all! We design our process to be as non-intrusive as possible. For the first few weeks, all work is conducted via external scaffolding through the roof. We only break through into your main living space towards the end of the project to install the staircase. Your home will remain clean, secure, and fully habitable throughout the journey.

The easiest way to check is to measure the height from the floor joists to the highest point of your roof. You generally need a minimum of 2.2 meters of head clearance. If you have less than this, a conversion might still be possible by lowering the ceilings on the floor below or altering the roofline.
